MacBeth Oxymoron wager 1 view 1 scallywag 274 gunstock 12-13 " fine is foul, and foul is attractive / Hoverthrough the veil and filthy air."  This summons is interesting to me because it is an oxymoron. Its impossible how sightly can be foul when fair is equal or mild and foul is gross(a) and rotten. Itssignificance is that the witches fascinate in the confusion of good and bad, beauty and ugliness.   flirt 1 blastoff 2 paginate 279 kris 40 "So foul and fair a day I have non attend ton"   This quote just now means that its one of those days when fog is followed bysunshine, then a thunderstorm, some hail, and more sunshine. Yet she does not believe thatMacbeth is really good. Act 2 Scene 1 Page 295 Line 5-6"Theres husbandry in heaven / Their candlesare all out" Banquo means that heaven has bygone to bed, and has put out its "candles" (thestars) for the night. Its significance is that the night stars will never beas quick-witted again because nature will now be in a state of turmoil andconfusion.
